Uber Canada will allow users in Ontario to order cannabis on
its Uber Eats app, a company spox said Monday. (Reuters)
Tokyo Smoke will be the first-listed retailer on the
marketplace which will allow Canada's potheads to place orders
from the Uber Eats app and pick up at their nearest Smoke
store, the spokesperson said.
Canada legalised recreational cannabis three years ago and is
trying to fix its ailing dope market where illegal producers
still control a large share of total annual sales.
Should they change the app's name to Uber Munchies?
