I love working with these older packages, but always want to register
them. I would be happy to pay the original programmer, but can rarely
find any way to even see if they are still around to do so.

Hah! Stalking! I did try that recently :>. I found the guy who wrote PCA (Personal Cash Account) which is a checkbook program. I actually got him
via email! Unfortunately, he's about 85 years old now and when he fired
up his old 486 he found out he didn't have the software on it. He had a
number of older PC's but basically told me that he doesn't plan on
trying to get them all running.

He said he would have given me all the software he made back then for
free, but alas...

I tried downloading the DCP's from the internet archive, but they didn't
have much software shown on the app pages. Maybe I'm missing another
cache of them.

Hey there HusTler! Unfortunately that was not me, I did put up a local
board in Erie PA back in the 90's but I don't think you would have ever
visited it. I ran PCBoard and had some files and door games. I
registered a number of them at the time. I still have the registration
number for TW2002, but I have lost all of the older stuff I registered.

I have been trying to find authors or keys for all the older apps I used
to use, like QMail and JH3 (Tagline utility). But am not having much
luck.

you should just get bbs stuff off of bbses. not where dipshit jason scott uploads it to.

they put some of my sites on the internet archive. not a cache, they made a pack. i told them to take that shit down.
