    LEARN, C. G., Jr., died peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness on November 3, 2022 at the age of 69. He was preceded in death by both his parents. Funeral services to be held at Westhampton Memorial Park at 10000 Patterson Avenue, on November 18, 2022 at 2 p.m.

    That's sad news.

    A little while back, I was touched that CG was willing to put the Valhalla TradeWars Game Server back online after my daughter died. She loved that server back in the day, and I just wanted to poke around and see if she might have left any messages on any of the games. I don't recall finding any (it had probably been too long), but it was kind of CG to let me try.

    May he rest in peace. It's always saddening to see someone with your same interests passing away.

    Wish I could have had a chance to get to meet him or call his BBS when it was still active, as I'm still new to this. Hopefully, someone will consider uploading the archives of his board.

    My condolences to his family.
