Went out for some trigger therapy a couple of days ago. First time shooting my IWI Uzi Pro. Man, it is STRANGE shooting a handgun with the rear sight BEHIND the grip. Very strange. Also had fun with the Sub-2000 and the M&P MDS. Was pretty much a 9mm sort of day... Ummmm... up until the moment I pulled out the Raging Bull and started letting go with some .454. Never shot that with .454 at
an indoor range before. Not sure I'll do it again either.

Did notice that after being out of practice for a couple of years my skills have
diminished. Seems to happen faster in my 63rd year than it did in the past. Guess that means I just have to practice more. Darn! The hell of it! ;)

Shooting is a perishable skill. Acquiring a sight picture and a smooth
trigger pull isn't easy if everthing feels wrong.

Went out for some trigger therapy a couple of days ago. First time

Haven't shot in ages... Wife has had a lot of stress with work and her
parents (aging and getting worse - she's an only child, so we spend a
lot of time taking care of them). I COULD shoot in the winter without
her, but more fun with a partner...

    shooting my IWI Uzi Pro.

I've been looking off and on at IWI brand in general... You like?

We each own SUB's as well - super fun! What's the MDS?

LOL - yeah, back when I was shooting often, I found my accuracy was better
on ALL the guns, but again been months...

I would like ot check out the IWI Carmel. Same goes for the Tavor. The Galil has several features found on the boutique shop AK's.

Agreed. My wife and I used to go out to the range regularly when we lived in New York. Since we moved to Wyoming and literally have a range right in our back yard, we just don't seem to do it any more. Have vowed to take better advantage of the range behind the house as well as the county shooting facility on the other side of Cheyenne. Very nice indoor range and good outdoor facilities as well.

I mis-typed. I had meant to say the M&P XDS. Not sure where MDS came from... brain fart in my old age, I suppose.

Shooting is definitely a perishable skill. Need to exercise it often and regularly. Picked up a few rifles over the winter and a new revolver that I need to try out. I have no excuse NOT to do more shooting other than "sometimes life just gets in the way!"

Ummmm, isn't an XDS made by Springfield? M&P is a Smith and Wesson
    term.

Indeed. I have the same problem. ;-)
